Or is this a false correlation?

The last 12 months have highlighted how important our health is. There is often an assumption that health is our birthright and that it deteriorates with age. But neither of these assumptions has to be true.

And if you are healthy right now, does it mean you are happy? Are the two states dependent upon each other? Can you be healthy and unhappy, or happy and unhealthy? The answer is yes to both, however, there is a strong correlation, in my experience between the two states.

How important is your health to you?

For me, it’s my number one priority. I will always choose health over anything else, including money if I have to focus on just one thing. The point is if your body is in pain, or your health is compromised, you will suffer. This will certainly reduce your natural happiness.

So if you don’t pay attention to your health, you might find it has deteriorated and you are now in pain. And it’s insidious. It can creep up on you slowly, over many years, so you don’t really notice. Then you wake up one day and you feel bad. How did this happen?

You were not paying attention.

What can you do to ensure a lifetime of great health?

I'm obsessed with health and feeling good. Nutrition, sleep, exercise all play their part. But energy is fundamental to a healthy life.
