Or do you make excuses?

Sorry to be blunt, but we live in a world of empty promises. Making empty promises to others is bad enough but it’s much worse when you make them to yourself, then rationalise your decision with excuses.

We all do it. The to-do list item that never gets done. The decision to join the gym and get fit. The decision to eat healthier, or improve your relationships, or work harder to get that job promotion, and on…

We think it doesn’t matter that we didn’t do it. ‘I did every other item on the to-do list’ (except the one you didn’t do is important to achieving your biggest goal). The gym was too expensive. Positive habits are awesome. Our bodies have this amazing capacity for change. If I am fat and overweight, and I wake up one morning, determined to change and get slim, I can. All I need to do is change my diet.

All you need to do is decide what you really want, choose a daily action that moves you a little closer to your goal, and commit to taking that action every day. After 30 days, it becomes a habit that…
