It decreases stress and increases calm, relieves pain, stimulates the lymphatic system (which helps to detoxify your body), improves immunity, increases energy, lowers blood pressure, improves digestion, and helps to support correct body posture and alignment.
That’s a lot of benefits. But I want to focus on just a few of them. You will immediately notice the increased energy levels and strong oxygenation. And your body will become more alkaline, which promotes better health. Fruit, vegetables, nuts, seeds, and beans are alkaline foods. All these foods promote healthy bodies, and so does deep breathing.
Daily deep breathing first thing in the morning will jump-start your body. It gets the molecules moving by boosting both energy and oxygen levels. And it doesn’t take long to do. It’s quicker than a run or exercise.
