How to stay positive during difficult times. The solution is quite simple: stop focusing on difficult situations or things. Not so easy to do? It can be. The only thing that produces satisfaction is knowing what you want and moving towards it, so that’s where you need to start.
The things you don’t want, that either happens or you cannot control, stand in contrast to what you want. Take a step back and notice the contrast, then resolve to focus only on what you want, and not what you don’t. Use this contrast between the two to get clear about the differences.
Although you cannot always control what happens, you can control your response to it. Always try to respond positively. Worry, for example, is a negative response that perpetuates when you engage with it. Stop engaging. Don’t allow emotions to happen to you, control your emotional responses.
