Is this a good time to start a side hustle?
One that you love and people need
Absolutely. More than ever. From adversity comes success. And we have all had more than our fair share of adversity this year. Now that November is here, the year is coming to a close. When I look back, I see both highs and lows; adversity and success. It’s not intuitive, but it happens.
What challenges have you had this year?
The worst illness I have ever had was transformed into the healthiest and fittest I have ever been. More than 6 weeks of feeling like crap every day, made me so determined to reverse it. It was hard work, but I succeeded. And a bonus is now my health is the best it’s ever been. I’m not sure I would have driven myself so hard if the illness hadn’t been so bad.
But on the other side of the coin, a business that had been doing well in 2019, is evaporating before my very eyes. In fact, it’s really in ICU right now. So finding a side hustle couldn’t be more timely. And I suspect the same is true for many other people. But finding the right one is different.
