How to boost it and make it strong

About 15 years ago I started working on boosting my energy. I was always tired, suffered from regular colds and infections, and could barely keep my eyes open after eating my evening meal. I was working long hours in quite a stressful job, but that was not the cause of low energy.

Could I boost my energy every day (I needed to do that)?

When I was much younger I never had any problems with lack of energy. I had plenty of energy for all the activities I did every day, including running several half-marathons a year. Fast forward a couple of decades and things had changed, a lot. I always blamed my dozing off after dinner on my job. But my partner said it was just an excuse. She was right, it was.

I always had a fascination with alternative therapies and practices. I read, learned, and experimented with all sorts of practices. Many involved bodywork, which I enjoyed, especially if massage was involved.

Eventually, I settled into a daily practice of meditation, chi kung, and yoga. I found all three to be very powerful and I enjoyed them enough to do them religiously every day. Commitment isn’t a problem for me.

So did my daily practice work?

I'm obsessed with health and feeling good. Nutrition, sleep, exercise all play their part. But energy is fundamental to a healthy life.
